Section of Ruffin Mill Road to close in Chesterfield County for maintenance
RICHMOND – Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close a section of Route 746 (Ruffin Mill Road) between Route 932 (Ashton Park Drive) and Route 617 (Ramblewood Road) in Chesterfield County for maintenance work. The daytime closures will be September 9–11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Residents will be able to access their property throughout the operation.
Through-traffic drivers should follow the respective posted detour:
- Northbound Traffic: Head north on Route 620 (Woods Edge Road), then south on Ramblewood Road to Ruffin Mill Road
- Southbound Traffic: Head north on Ramblewood Road, then south on Woods Edge Road to Ruffin Mill Road
