I-495 nightly ramp closures at Route 123 in Tysons tonight - Oct. 3

TYSONS – Weather permitting, the I-495 (Capital Beltway) and Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) interchange will have nightly closures for paving Monday night, Sept. 28, through Saturday night, Oct. 3, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The ramp closures will occur as follows:

Northbound I-495 (Capital Beltway Inner Loop) ramp to northbound Route 123 (Exit 46B to McLean)

11 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, to 4 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29.
11 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, to 4 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2.

Traffic will be detoured via northbound I-495, the ramp to southbound Route 123 (Exit 46A to Tysons), southbound Route 123, the ramp to southbound I-495, southbound I-495, and the ramp to northbound Route 123.

Northbound I-495 ramp to southbound Route 123 (Exit 46A to Tysons)

11 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, to 4 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30.
11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, to 4 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3.

Traffic will be detoured via northbound I-495, the ramp to Route 193/Georgetown Pike (Exit 44), westbound Route 193/Georgetown Pike, the ramp to southbound I-495, southbound I-495, and the ramp to southbound Route 123.

Southbound I-495 (Capital Beltway Outer Loop) ramp to northbound Route 123 (Exit 46B to McLean)

11 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, to 4 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 1.
11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, to 4 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4.

Traffic will be detoured via southbound I-495, the ramp to Route 7/Leesburg Pike (Exits 47 A-B), the ramp to westbound Route 7/Leesburg Pike (Exit 47A), westbound Route 7/Leesburg Pike, and the ramp to northbound Route 123.

Drivers are asked to follow posted detour signs.
